What it is
The game's short personal tournament family rewards ordinary activities performed during a limited scoring window. The official list covers 19 named activities, including building, research, gathering, hiring, exploration and fighting.
Players often call them daily tournaments because they encounter the rotation during daily play. That does not make the family a separate combined tournament or establish a fixed daily order. Each named event has its own scoring action and personal ranking.
The family research notes show the useful preparation pattern: keep relevant work ready, then complete or collect it when the matching event starts. The key is matching the action, not simply spending a large reserve while any tournament happens to be active.
When it runs
The official rules describe random launches without published dates or times. An event cannot repeat consecutively; when one ends, a different short tournament starts.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Short tournaments active together | 1 |
| Short duration group | 2 hours |
| Middle duration group | 3.5 hours |
| Long duration group | 5 hours |
The calendar helps you prepare around other events. The table reads the current or next start of a few of them from the game's calendar when you open the page; the active countdown in the game still decides.
| Event | Starts |
|---|---|
| Gold Rush | Fri, Nov 6, 10:00 |
| Silver Rush | Sat, Nov 7, 17:30 |
| Beastslayer | Thu, Nov 5, 13:30 |
| Battle Training | Thu, Nov 5, 04:30 |
| Crypt Raiders | Fri, Nov 6, 00:00 |
The game doesn't publish a fixed rotation, and past starts don't establish one. Check the game's upcoming list to see which tournament comes next.
Who can take part
All players participate in the personal rankings described by the family article. Your clan does not register a team or combine member scores for these events.
| Detail | Rule |
|---|---|
| Divisions | 0, under the general event rules |
| Rewarded places | Top 100 |
| Tied point totals | Earlier achievement takes the higher place |
Access to the activity still matters. A tournament does not unlock a technology, a monster hire or a crypt key that your account lacks. Prepare tasks your account can perform now, rather than copying a queue available only to a more developed member.
How points are scored
The named activity determines the score. The table below gives the official family list, grouped by duration; it does not claim equal points for different activities or a fixed order between them.
| Event | What scores | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Scientific Progress | Unlocking and researching technologies | 2 hours |
| Hammer and Anvil | Crafting equipment | 2 hours |
| The King's Mercy | Sending treasury contributions | 2 hours |
| Capital Challenge | Sending resources to Clan Capital | 2 hours |
| The Quest for Chests | Opening clan, crypt and package-offer chests | 2 hours |
| Castle Development | Building and upgrading city buildings | 3.5 hours |
| Call of Duty | Training ordinary troops | 3.5 hours |
| Regular Decrees | Completing daily quests | 3.5 hours |
| Silver Rush | Collecting Silver | 3.5 hours |
| War Tools | Gathering resources on the map | 3.5 hours |
| Power Points | Adding account privilege points | 3.5 hours |
| Battle Training | Hiring monsters in Barracks | 3.5 hours |
| Gold Rush | Obtaining Gold | 5 hours |
| Beastslayer | Defeating map monsters | 5 hours |
| Crypt Raiders | Exploring crypts and searching for rare items | 5 hours |
| Wargames | Defeating other players' troops | 5 hours |
| Officer Academy | Earning experience with your commanders | 5 hours |
| Tar Mastery | Collecting Tar | 5 hours |
| Blessing of the Gods | Reviving fallen troops | 5 hours |
Prepare the right action
A building completion can wait for the building event, while a prepared research completion belongs to the research event. Monster hiring and ordinary troop training are separate activities even though both expand your army. The event notes recommend completing their prepared batches during their respective windows.
Collection is also different from spending. Save a harvest or income claim for the matching resource event; using the resulting balance on troops does not turn that spending into another collection.
Crypt exploration and chest opening are a particularly useful pair. Explore during Crypt Raiders, then use unopened resulting chests during The Quest for Chests where available. The exploration and its later chest opening are distinct actions with distinct timing opportunities.
Use the ranking rule in your timing
Under the general rules, when two players have equal point totals, the one who reached that score earlier takes the higher place. If a prepared action is ready when its event opens, there is no ranking advantage in delaying the same score until the closing moment.
- Read the active tournament name and scored action.
- Use the corresponding prepared completion, collection, exploration or hunt.
- Compare additional activity with the rewarded ranking group.
- Keep unrelated queues working instead of stopping development for the whole rotation.
- Log in after the event to receive its placement rewards.
Rewards
Ranking payouts are credited automatically when you log in. Dragon Coins from this family go to Clan Capital, connecting personal placements with shared development.
| Reward | Role |
|---|---|
| Ranking titles | Temporary account bonuses |
| Tar and other qualities of exploration supplies | Crypt activity |
| Dragon Coins | Shared capital progression |
| Captain fragments | Commander development |
| Resources and other items | Account development |
The catalogue entries for collection, income, hunting, exploration and monster hiring in this batch declare no dedicated event chests. There is no shared family chest percentage table to attach to them.
Ordinary exploration and hunting loot can still include chests. Identify those by the actual chest received, rather than relabelling all loot earned during a short tournament as a new event reward.
A plan for your clan
Use the detailed collection, income, exploration, and monster hiring guides for the preparation behind those reminders.
Common mistakes
- Treating the daily nickname as a guaranteed daily schedule.
- Preparing ordinary troop training for the monster-hiring window.
- Spending resources when the active event asks you to collect them.
- Opening chests when the active event asks you to explore.
- Holding the same attainable score until the end despite the earlier-score tie rule.
- Stopping every queue while waiting for a matching tournament.
FAQ
Is there an official fixed daily rotation?
No. The official family article describes random launches, no public timetable and no consecutive repeat of the same tournament.
Are monster hiring and troop training interchangeable?
No. They are separate entries in the official list. Prepare the unit category named by the active event.
Can exploring and opening the resulting chest help different events?
Yes. The research notes describe saving exploration for its event and using unopened chests for the separate chest-opening event where available.
What if another player reaches my score?
The player who reached that score earlier takes the higher place under the general event rules.
Where do the ranking's capital coins go?
The official family article directs them to the clan's capital. They are not credited as personal spending currency.
