What it is
The King's Mercy is the personal tournament for sending Gold Ingots to the Royal Treasury. The official regular-tournament list makes the send the scoring action, rather than simply possessing or producing the currency.
Save a deposit you already intend to make for the active window, and avoid sending more merely to chase a marginal place.
Keep the currencies clear from the start. Gold Ingots are not the same as personal Gold, and the destination is the kingdom treasury. Your clan's own shared capital is a different destination with a different role.
When it runs
The official guide says regular tournaments start randomly and have no fixed public launch timetable. Check the game's upcoming list and confirm the live event before paying taxes specifically for points.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Active scoring window | 2 hours |
| Current or next start, UTC | Fri, Nov 6, 20:30 |
| Regular tournaments active together | 1 |
| Rewarded ranking places | Top 100 |
The start shown is read from the game's calendar when you open the page. It can help you prepare a reminder, but it does not establish a permanent daily deposit time. Use the calendar alongside the current in-game countdown.
A named tournament cannot immediately follow itself. If you miss the window, do not assume a repeat will be next or hold up a deposit your kingdom needs on that assumption.
Who can take part
The normal-kingdom entry record adds no special joining condition. The practical requirement is having the currency available to send through your city's tax interface.
The official currency guide says a tax payment becomes available once you have at least 1 ingot. That is the minimum for using the payment function, not a promise of a particular tournament score or rewarded rank.
You do not need to hold a kingdom office to make tax payments. The official guide separates players who send the currency from the officeholders (the King, the Hand of the King or the Queen) who spend the treasury on bonuses.
How treasury deposits score
Find the currency at its source
The Capitol guide identifies that building as the producer of Gold Ingots. The currency guide says production increases as the building's level rises.
Producing the currency supplies a future deposit. It is not the same as making the send that this tournament names as its scoring action. Likewise, obtaining personal Gold does not mean the tax balance has grown by the same amount.
This distinction is especially useful for a new member who hears the event called a gold event. Show the tax panel and the currency name instead of relying on that shorthand.
Pay through the tax interface
The official guides provide the route from your city to the treasury. Use it only after checking the active tournament if your intention is to score the deposit.
- Open your Capitol.
- Select Taxes.
- Choose the deposit you intend to send.
- Confirm with Pay taxes during the active window.
- Return to the tournament screen and check your personal progress.
Review the chosen deposit before confirming it. Knowing where the currency goes is more useful than clicking through the familiar panel because the tournament name looks right.
The game doesn't publish how many points each deposited unit earns, or exactly when a deposit is credited. Check the live tournament's rules in the game.
Separate the treasury's use from your ranking
The official currency article says authorised kingdom officeholders can spend the treasury balance on bonuses affecting an individual player or the kingdom. Paying taxes contributes currency to that treasury; it does not let the sender personally select a bonus from its spending controls.
Your tournament rank is another result of the timed deposit. Do not promise a kingdom bonus in exchange for a member's placing unless the responsible officeholders have actually arranged it.
For the construction side of the currency's source building, see Castle Development. Upgrading the building, producing its currency and sending taxes are separate actions with different timing decisions.
Rewards
The top 100 players receive ranking rewards. Under the official regular-tournament rule, those rewards arrive when you next log in, while any Dragon Coins are credited to Clan Capital.
That creates a useful distinction: your deposit goes to the kingdom treasury, while that particular ranking reward goes to your clan's capital. They are separate transactions and different currencies.
The usual ranking rewards are a title, tar, captain fragments and other items (event notes). Consult the live reward bands before deciding whether a larger deposit serves your own priorities and the kingdom's needs.
The event has no chest of its own, so there is no drop table here.
Treat a temporary rewarded rank as provisional until the event ends. Another player's deposit can change the standings, so choose the deposit you intend to make rather than assuming that defending a place is always worth sending more.
A plan for your clan
Compare this with Power Points, where the bankable action adds personal progression points instead. The short-tournament overview covers the rotation shared by both.
Common mistakes
- Confusing treasury currency with personal Gold.
- Assuming production alone completes the scored deposit action.
- Sending to a clan destination when the objective names the kingdom treasury.
- Expecting a personal payment to unlock treasury spending controls.
- Mixing up the tax destination with the destination of the ranking's clan-bound coins.
FAQ
What earns tournament points?
Sending Gold Ingots to the Royal Treasury during the active window. Check its current rules for the point conversion.
Where do I send the deposit?
Open your Capitol, select the tax panel, choose the deposit and confirm the payment.
Do I need to be a kingdom officeholder to pay?
No. The official guide distinguishes players who send taxes from the officeholders authorised to spend the treasury balance.
Is the deposit personal Gold?
No. The treasury uses the separate ingot currency produced by your city's main building.
Why does a ranking reward arrive at the Clan Capital?
The official regular-tournament rule sends its clan-bound coin reward there. That reward is separate from the currency you paid to the kingdom treasury.
