In short

Ragnarök is a two-day clan event. Your clan raids Jörmungandr together, and each player strikes Fenrir alone. Both pay coins that stay in the shop between runs, and both drop Legendary chests, so bank your coins for the Warrior of Ragnarök set instead of spending them on filler.

How it works

Ragnarök lasts two days and is really two events in one window. Each monster has its own currency and its own shop tab.

Both invasions are open for the whole two days. Some calendars still give Jörmungandr day one and Fenrir day two, but the game runs the two side by side, and in the last run clans generated chests from both monsters on both days. Most Jörmungandr raids land in the first evening, while the most members are online.

Jörmungandr's Invasion

Epic Jörmungandr squads appear on the map and can be hit as raids: several clan members in one march. Your reward scales with your share of the raid, and kills earn Jörmungandr Scales, which the shop turns into Jörmungandr Coins.

Fenrir's Invasion

Epic Fenrir squads can be attacked by one Captain only. Expect to lose the march; the point is the biggest single hit. Kills earn Fenrir's Fangs, exchanged for Fenrir Coins.

The difficulty of your personal goals, and what they pay, is set by your troop level when the event starts. Upgrading troops mid-event does not change it.

Chests and rewards

The event has four Legendary chests, and they come in two pairs. Hitting the squads gives Jörmungandr's Chest for Jörmungandr and Fenrir's Chest for Fenrir. The Jörmungandr shop sells its own Jörmungandr's Chest, and the world top 100 clans receive Fenrir's Chest when the event ends, for the leaders to share out. Each pair holds the same rewards; the chances below are the game’s own, as declared.

Strategy

Before it starts

  • Decide your troop tier before the event launches: shop offers and goal difficulty are locked at the start.
  • Switch on your strength and health boosts first, then Valor and Experience boosts right before each march. A boost only has to be active when the fight resolves.

During the window

  • Join or organise big Jörmungandr raids. Rewards scale with your share, so one full march beats three small ones.
  • Spend early Jörmungandr Coins on the Fenrir damage bonus before you strike Fenrir.
  • Put cheap, high-health guardsmen in front and keep your damage dealers behind: epic monsters hit the biggest health stack first. The troop stacking guide explains why.

Spending the coins

  • Coins keep between runs. Bank them for Rune Stones and the Warrior of Ragnarök set rather than cheap filler offers.
  • Convert Jörmungandr Scales and Fenrir's Fangs into coins deliberately, matching the tab to what you are saving for.

Common mistakes

  • Upgrading troops mid-event hoping for easier goals. The tier is locked; plan it before launch.
  • Spending coins on impulse instead of saving for the set.
  • Soloing Jörmungandr. The raid share is the whole point of it.

Questions

Does my clan need to be in the top 100 to get anything?

No. Personal goals pay every player who completes them. The world top 100 is an extra clan reward on top.

Do Ragnarök coins expire?

No. Jörmungandr Coins and Fenrir Coins stay in the shop between runs. Goal rewards you have not collected do expire when the event ends.

Can I raid Fenrir?

No. Fenrir squads take one Captain only. Raids are for Jörmungandr.
