What it is
The Great Hunt is a clan tournament scored through monster contracts. Each contract names the squad description, attack leader, difficulty and tournament points. Complete matching work to add its score to the clan total.
The official guide makes it a contract competition, not an epic-squad damage race: the monster you kill must fit the contract. An unrelated kill can be useful for ordinary play without completing the work that scores here.
The clan ranking rewards the best finishers, with ties decided by who reached the shared score earlier. That gives the clan a reason to complete achievable contracts promptly instead of assuming that an identical final score produces an identical rank.
When it runs
The schedule below is read from the game's calendar for normal kingdoms when you open the page. Use the calendar and current tournament timer to plan contract sessions and the leader-bonus call.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Repeats every | 6 days |
| Active window | 1 day |
| Current or next start, UTC | Fri, Nov 6, 17:00 |
The leader bonus is limited within the tournament, so arrange its intended UTC session before members spend their available hunting time. Members who cannot attend should still know which contract work they can complete independently.
Who can take part
Clan membership is required for the clan-scored competition. Contract difficulty depends on Hero level, and the list includes assignments for the hero and for a Captain.
Read the leader requirement as well as the monster description. A matching monster attacked under the wrong contract conditions is not a substitute for completing the specified assignment.
Personal battle bonuses and clan tournament points are distinct parts of the event: your hunting can improve personal Valor points and Experience gains while completed contracts feed the clan score.
How contracts and scoring work
Read the starting list
The opening list contains 10 contracts. The official distribution is below; scores are tournament points rather than resource reward amounts. Each difficulty splits its assignments evenly between hero and captain work.
| Difficulty | Contracts | Tournament points per completion |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | 2 | 100 |
| Medium | 4 | 200 |
| Hard | 4 | 300 |
You can defeat any squad matching the description. Type, rarity and level are the conditions to satisfy; a nearby matching squad works even if it is not the exact example shown by the contract.
- Read the required monster type, rarity, level and attack leader.
- Find an accessible squad that matches those conditions.
- Complete the contract, then inspect the remaining unfinished work.
- Choose an upgrade or refresh only when it helps you finish further contracts.
Upgrade selectively
An upgrade replaces the contract with work at the next difficulty: easy, medium, hard, then expert. More difficult work offers more points, but replacing an achievable target with an unfinished expert contract does not add to the clan's score.
The official guide gives the scores up to hard; it does not publish the expert value, and the pattern of the lower tiers does not prove it.
The expert contract's score isn't published, so it is not in the table. Check it in the game.
Use the refresh budget
The whole list can be refreshed 3 times per tournament. A refresh replaces all unfinished contracts with a new list and preserves points already earned. Finish useful nearby assignments before replacing the remaining work.
This is why a refresh and an upgrade are different decisions. An upgrade changes a contract's difficulty; a refresh changes the unfinished list. Neither should be used simply because the button is available.
Time the leader bonus correctly
Completed contracts build a personal bonus to Valor points and Experience in contract battles. The leader can activate a clan-wide bonus that multiplies that personal bonus effect.
| Detail | Official value |
|---|---|
| Leader-bonus activations per tournament | 1 |
| Multiplier on the personal battle-bonus effect | 2 |
| Clans receiving ranking rewards | 100 |
The confirmed multiplier applies to the personal battle bonus. It does not establish a multiplier for the contract's tournament score. Announce the session for improved battle rewards without promising that the same completed contract suddenly adds a different clan score.
The leader bonus's current duration, and whether it changes tournament scores at all, isn't published. Check it in the game.
Rewards and conditional chances
The official guide rewards the 100 best clans; Great Hunt chest is one of the event's chests. Its contents come in two versions, one for players who have completed a certain research and one for everyone else. The two differ only in their tar reward; every chance below is the same in both.
| Reward | Chance |
|---|---|
| Speedup | 15.4% |
| March Speedup | 12.3% |
| Clan Speedup | 10% |
| Set of daily jobs | 10% |
| Gold | 6.2% |
| Sacred Potion | 6.2% |
| Dragon Coins | 0.8% |
| Rare Tar | 0.8% |
Each percentage is the chance of that reward once you open the chest, not the chance of earning the chest.
A plan for your clan
Compare this contract session with Rise of the Ancients, where preparation funds artifacts and officers summon an epic target. Use the clan-management guide to assign the bonus call, and the member-motivation guide to set clear participation expectations.
Common mistakes
- Killing a squad that fails the contract's type, rarity, level or leader requirement.
- Upgrading manageable work into a contract you cannot complete.
- Refreshing while useful unfinished contracts remain close to completion.
- Treating the personal battle bonus as a confirmed tournament-score multiplier.
FAQ
Must I kill the exact squad displayed by the contract?
No. Any squad matching its description works. Check the required type, rarity, level and leader.
Does refreshing remove completed points?
No. Earned points remain; the refresh replaces unfinished contracts with a new list.
Does the leader bonus change contract scores?
The official guide confirms multiplication of the personal battle-bonus effect. It does not establish the same change to tournament scores.
What decides a tied clan ranking?
The clan that reached the shared score earlier receives the higher place.
Is the expert score confirmed by the earlier pattern?
No. The official guide omits that value, so the current contract or an official update must establish it.
