What it is
DARK OMENS is a clan tournament built around point production and indirect competition. Your clan raises its production, while summoned Dark Omen monsters suppress rival production until defeated or expired.
The official guide describes 4 clans competing in a division over 2 days. Winning is about accumulated clan rank points, not simply who attacks the most monsters or opens the most chests.
Personal activities run alongside that clan contest. Restoration of Balance is the personal battle leaderboard, while Spoils of Dread supplies personal goals for fighting the summoned monsters. Give members the right destination for the reward they are pursuing.
When it runs
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Tournament duration | 2 days |
| Current or next start | Tue, Dec 8, 17:00 |
| Contribution intervals during the tournament | 7 |
| Summon-limit refresh interval from event launch | 1 hour |
Use the calendar, then check the live event. The start above follows the game’s current calendar rather than a permanently stored appointment.
Contributions are not available continuously. The current official guide restricts contributions to scheduled intervals shown in the production tab. Your existing point production continues between them; only the ability to contribute is temporarily closed.
Assign coverage around those displayed windows. Saving currency for a time when the contribution control is closed cannot raise production at that moment, even if your clan is falling behind.
Who can take part
Full participation requires a player-created clan with Clan Capital, at least 55 qualifying members, and Hero level 20 or above for those members. The kingdom must allow cross-kingdom interactions.
Members joining after the event starts can still complete missions and advance the pass. The official rule excludes them from receiving or contributing Omen Essence and from summoning or fighting the event's summoned monsters.
Settle membership before launch. An invitation during the tournament can help future events, but it does not erase the current participation restriction.
How it works
Missions supply both sides of the plan
Fight Arcanomancer to obtain Omen Sigil. It is the only source named for that mission currency; fighting the summoned monsters does not provide it.
Complete the daily missions to receive Omen Essence and Spawn Card. The former supports your clan's production, while the latter is used to summon monsters against rivals.
- Find the neutral target through the activities tab.
- Complete the mission requirements using its currency.
- Collect the mission rewards.
- Contribute during an available production interval and use summons according to the clan's target plan.
The event notes correctly separate this loop from an older assumption that the summoned monsters directly supply contribution currency.
Production and suppression both need attention
Contributions raise the clan's flame level and accelerate automatic rank-point production. Rival summons reduce that production until the monsters are removed or expire.
Suppression is capped at 95%. Excess suppression is stored and becomes active as clearing monsters lowers the active total. Removing a monster therefore does not guarantee the full expected improvement if stored suppression replaces it.
The summon limit counts summons sent by all opposing clans during the interval, rather than merely counting surviving monsters. Existing monsters keep applying suppression after the limit refreshes, but no longer count against the new interval's limit.
The official guide gives the suppression cap and the refresh rule, but not each monster type's suppression value or the summon limit itself. Check both in the live event.
Rotate combat without borrowing the wrong protection
Against the summoned monsters, revival uses Silver with costs reduced by 90%, irreversible losses are disabled and equipment does not break. Those protections do not apply to the neutral mission target.
Repeated battles accumulate Fatigue Mark, reducing troop strength and health including bonuses. The current official guide says fatigue depends on damage dealt. Rotate members handling defence instead of assuming that the strongest attacker should clear every summon.
The troop-selection guide explains why target rules matter before selecting an army. Special protection against these summons is not a general rule for every epic battle.
Rewards
Choose the correct reward track
The official guide directs Valor points to Spoils of Dread, whose personal goals reward battles against the summoned monsters with Valor points and clan chests. The main event's own rewards for those battles are balanced for the cheaper revival and include no Valor points. Restoration of Balance has its own personal leaderboard for battles against both the neutral target and the summoned monsters, with the number of prize places depending on your division.
The event notes also describe artifact fragments, and a suppression item for top clans in the global clan ranking that lowers an Ancient's level. The Rise of the Ancients guide explains that separate clan event; do not confuse its preparation with this event's point production.
Ranking-chest item chances
The catalogue binds Dark Omens ranking chest to the main event. It is the ranking chest entry shown here; its award depends on the relevant division and placement, not on every monster attack.
| Item | Declared chance |
|---|---|
| Epic Tar | 14.5% |
| Dragon Coins | 14.5% |
| Rare Tar | 14.5% |
| Silver | 14.5% |
| Tar | 14% |
| Gold | 14% |
| Sacred Potion | 14% |
This covers every item in that unconditional chest entry. Other same-title entries contain conditional reward lines, so their combined lines should not be presented as a simple chance table.
For the separate shared progression from opening gifts, see Clan wealth. It is not the clan score for this tournament.
A plan for your clan
Common mistakes
- Expecting late membership to unlock full participation immediately.
- Fighting summoned monsters for the currency only the neutral target provides.
- Planning contributions outside their scheduled intervals.
- Assuming each cleared monster removes the same amount of active suppression despite stored excess.
- Applying the summoned-monster revival rules to the neutral mission target.
FAQ
Can rivals stop our production completely?
No. The official cap leaves production running, although much more slowly. Stored excess can replace suppression removed by clearing monsters.
Where does contribution currency come from?
From daily missions. Fight the neutral mission target for its mission currency, then collect the mission rewards.
Can we contribute whenever we have currency?
No. Use the contribution intervals displayed in the production tab. Existing production continues between those windows.
Do the reduced-loss rules apply to every battle in this event?
No. The official guide expressly excludes the neutral mission target from the summoned monsters' special protections.
Are chest counts the clan ranking score?
No. The clan generates rank points over time, modified by its production level and suppression. Chests describe another part of the activity and rewards.
